How To Launch Your First Online Store In Under 1 Hour

Before You Start

You'll need: a product (or a list of products), a logo or brand name, and a Razorpay or Stripe account for payments. That's it.

Step 1: Sign Up & Choose Your Business Type (5 mins)

Go to OVVEE and sign up. When asked to choose your business type, select Ecommerce. Then choose your category — Fashion, Electronics, Beauty, etc. This sets up your admin panel with the right tools for your type of store.

Step 2: Choose a Theme (5 mins)

Browse OVVEE's theme library and pick one that matches your brand's aesthetic. Every theme is mobile-first and optimised for conversions. You can switch themes later without losing your data.

Step 3: Add Your Products (20 mins)

Go to Products → Add Product. For each product:

Step 4: Set Up Payments (10 mins)

Go to Settings → Payment Gateways. Connect your Razorpay account (API Key + Secret). OVVEE handles the checkout flow — you just need to provide your keys. Test with a ₹1 test order before going live.

Step 5: Configure Shipping (10 mins)

Go to Settings → Shipping. Add your shipping zones (e.g., India-wide) and set your rates. You can offer free shipping above a threshold (e.g., free above ₹599). Connect Shiprocket if you want automated label generation.

Step 6: Go Live (5 mins)

Go to Settings → Store → Status and flip the switch to Live. Your store is now public. Share your OVVEE store URL (yourstore.ovvee.com) or connect your custom domain.

Your First Sale

Share your store link on WhatsApp, Instagram, and with your existing customers. Set up a launch discount coupon (Settings → Coupons) to drive the first orders.
