Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the standards of acceptable conduct for all merchants and users of the OVVEE platform, operated by Credmint Innovation Private Limited. OVVEE supports four business types — Ecommerce, Restaurant & Food, Services, and Informational Websites — across 39 total categories. This AUP applies equally to all business types.

Prohibited Products & Services

Regardless of business type or category, you may not use OVVEE to sell, offer, or promote:

Illegal drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances, or controlled substances

Counterfeit goods or items that infringe any intellectual property rights

Weapons, firearms, explosives, or ammunition (without valid government licensing)

Human trafficking, escort services, or sexual exploitation

Gambling, betting, or lottery services (without valid state licensing)

Tobacco, alcohol, or age-restricted products sold to minors

Products making false medical or health claims

Products or services promoting hatred, violence, discrimination, or terrorism

Pirated software, media, or content

Prohibited Activities (All Business Types)

The following activities are prohibited across all four business types:

Spamming, bulk unsolicited communications, or harassment of customers

Phishing, fraud, identity theft, or impersonation

Attempting to breach, test, or circumvent OVVEE's security systems

Scraping or automated extraction of platform data

Creating fake reviews, inflating ratings, or manipulating analytics

Processing payments outside the OVVEE platform to circumvent fees

Operating a store on behalf of a sanctioned or blacklisted entity

Business-Type Specific Obligations

Ecommerce Merchants (Fashion, Electronics, Beauty, Grocery, Jewellery, Sports, Home & Living, Books & Stationery)

Accurately describe product specifications, materials, and conditions

Maintain adequate stock before listing products

Comply with BIS standards, packaging norms, and labelling laws

FSSAI registration required for food/grocery products

Restaurant & Food Merchants (Café, Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Cloud Kitchen, Bar & Brewery, Bakery, Street Food, Food Truck, Juice Bar)

Maintain valid FSSAI licence and display licence number on the digital menu

Not list items that are currently unavailable without disabling them

Comply with municipal health and hygiene regulations

Service Businesses (Salon & Spa, Clinic & Healthcare, CA & Accounting, Legal Services, Education & Tutoring, Fitness & Gym, Photography, Travel Agency, Real Estate, Event Management, Cleaning Services, Home Repair, Consulting)

Professionals offering regulated services (medical, legal, financial) must hold valid licences and registrations

Appointment slots must reflect actual availability

Service descriptions must accurately represent what is offered

Informational Websites (Agency, Portfolio, NGO, Studio, Blog, Community, Real Estate Info, Government, Nonprofit)

Contact forms must not be used for spam collection

NGOs and nonprofits must hold valid registrations (e.g., 80G, FCRA where applicable)

Misleading claims about services, credentials, or affiliations are prohibited

Enforcement

OVVEE reserves the right to investigate suspected violations. Consequences may include:

Formal warning and notice to cure

Temporary store suspension pending investigation

Permanent account termination without refund

Reporting to relevant authorities
