Intellectual Property Policy


1. OVVEE's Intellectual Property


The OVVEE platform — including its software, codebase, user interface design, themes, logos, trademarks, documentation, and marketing materials — is the intellectual property of Credmint Innovation Private Limited, protected under the Copyright Act 1957, Trade Marks Act 1999, and other applicable Indian and international IP laws.


You may not, without prior written permission from OVVEE:

  • Copy, reproduce, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform software
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell OVVEE's platform or themes
  • Use OVVEE's name, logo, or branding in any commercial or promotional context
  • Create derivative works based on OVVEE's proprietary code or design

    • 2. Merchant's Intellectual Property


    Merchants retain full and exclusive ownership of all content they create and upload to the OVVEE platform, including:

  • Brand name, logo, and visual identity
  • Product photographs, descriptions, and catalogues (Ecommerce)
  • Menu items, food photographs, and restaurant branding (Restaurant & Food)
  • Service descriptions, pricing, and staff profiles (Services)
  • Website copy, pages, blog content, and portfolio work (Informational Websites)

    • By uploading content to OVVEE, you grant OVVEE a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and host that content solely for the purpose of providing the platform services.


    3. Third-Party Content


    Merchants are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to use all content uploaded to their store. Do not upload:

  • Photographs or images you do not own or have not licensed
  • Brand logos, trademarked names, or content belonging to third parties without authorisation
  • Copied product descriptions from competitor stores

    • Violations may result in store suspension and exposure to third-party legal claims.


    4. Copyright Infringement Notices (IT Act / DMCA)


    If you believe that content on an OVVEE-powered store infringes your copyright:

  • Send a written notice to [email protected]
  • Include: your full name and contact details, a description of the original copyrighted work, the URL(s) of the infringing content, a statement of good faith belief, and your signature
  • OVVEE will review and respond within 5 business days. Confirmed violations will result in content removal and notification to the merchant.

    • Merchants who receive a copyright notice may submit a counter-notice. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.


    5. Trademark


    The "OVVEE" name and logo are trademarks of Credmint Innovation Private Limited. Unauthorised use of these marks — including in domain names, app names, or marketing materials — is prohibited. For legitimate co-branding or partnership enquiries: [email protected]
